In this workshop, You will create your own animated drawings using analog stop motion drawing techniques and new technology. Using a smartphone camera, a free app, printer paper, pencils and a light box or tablet screen, we will create sequential drawings that, when photographed and played back, will fly, grow, run, fall, and wiggle. Animating a drawing brings movement and a sense of life to drawings in a fun and challenging way. This workshop is led by Ardis DeFreece, Chair of BFA Thesis, and Assistant Professor in Painting and Drawing and Christiane Cegavske, Associate Professor in Animated Arts. All materials will be provided
