Admitted Students Day is your sneak peek into all the possibilities for your new life at PNCA and all that Portland offers! You’ll meet other incoming students, explore our campus and majors, and participate in hands-on workshops. It’s also a great time to meet with our financial aid team and learn more about student life.

Admitted Students Day Schedule 

Check-in begins at 9:00am

9:00-9:45 AM: Check-in, coffee + tea/breakfast, Admitted Student Slideshow

10:00-11:00 AM: Main Campus Tours

11:00-12:00: Introduction + Program overviews in the Mediatheque

12:00–1:00 PM: Lunch with your future faculty and staff 
(with Salami the Sloth!)

1:00–2:30 PM: For Students: Faculty-led Workshops:

• Pastel Play: A Collaborative Drawing & Storytelling Workshop led by Michelle Ross, Chair of Painting + Drawing
• Hands-On Screenprinting: Create Your Own Tote Bag with Yoshi Kitai, Chair of Printmaking
• Explore the Magic of Photograms in the Darkroom led by Teresa Christiansen, Chair of Photography
• Bring Your Characters to Life: 2D Animation Workshop led by Za Vue, Chair of Animated Arts
• Experiments in RISO: A Graphic Design Workshop led by Flo van Grote
• Expressive Symbolism in Illustrated Portraits led by Martin French, Chair of Illustration
