STEM Scholarship Application

    The STEM Fellows Program provides scholarships and a series of academic, community-building, and co-curricular support activities intended to equip students to succeed as future scholars and leaders in STEM fields. Ideal candidates for the STEM Fellows Program have demonstrated financial need (based on the FAFSA/ORSSA) and a passion for, or accomplishments, in STEM areas.

    To participate in this competitive program, you must:

    • Pursue a major in one of the STEM fields at Willamette University. These include: biology, chemistry, computer science, data science, environmental science, exercise and health science, mathematics,  physics, psychology, public health and/or complete the pre-engineering requirements for one of our joint-degree programs.
    • Have demonstrated financial need by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA).

    If you are selected as a STEM Fellow, you will receive up to $10,000 in annual scholarship, which can be stacked on top of any other financial aid you receive from Willamette.

    To be considered for admission into the STEM Fellows Program at Willamette, we require the following:

    • A completed application for admission, including all required documents;
    • The STEM Scholarship application; and,
    • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA).

    Your scholarship application will not be reviewed until you have completed both your application for admission, including submission of all required documents, this form and other submission requirements.
